DAY 1: Advanced Workflow & Multicam Editing
Goal: Build confidence in handling large-scale projects, sync multi-cam footage, and leverage
AI to speed up your edits.
✅ Syncing techniques: manual, audio-based, and timecode sync
✅ Multicam editing: creating multicam sequences and switching angles live
✅ Using transcriptions to edit interviews faster
✅ Exploring Adobe’s AI tools: Auto Reframe, Scene Edit Detection, and Enhance Speech
✅ Creating proxies for smoother editing with high-res footage
✅ Managing complex projects with bins, color coding, and search metadata
✅ Advanced marker usage and timeline organization
✅ Speeding up rough cuts using AI-assisted features
📂 Assignment: Create and edit a 2-camera multicam sequence with synced interviews and
titles
DAY 2: Collaborative Workflows, Audio Automation & System Architecture
Goal: Learn to work in collaborative environments using Premiere Productions and
professional audio tools, while understanding the tech behind smooth editing systems.
✅ Introduction to Premiere Productions: managing multiple editors, shared projects
✅ Audio automation tools: auto ducking, loudness normalization, and EQ presets
✅ Using adjustment layers, nested sequences, and master effects
✅ Color correction basics: Lumetri scopes and selective color grading
✅ Understanding DAS vs NAS: editing from shared drives, server setups, and best
practices
✅ Exporting master files vs deliverables: ProRes, MXF, and platform-specific needs
✅ Archiving and backing up project media
✅ Troubleshooting performance: cache, render settings, and drive speed impact
📂 Final Project: Build a 90–120 second multicam sequence using AI tools, automation,
proxies, and collaborative structure in a simulated network workflow.
